We are expanding our focus broadly and deeply in 2020, as outlined in our November/December BLOG updates!
These expansions(below) are, in addition to work we already do in multiple countries over the past 9 years:
education coordination in Iraq/Kurdistan targeting mid-level and lower-level leaders
TCD – Transformational Community Development in the Middle East and Serbia(Balkans)
ELD – Entrepreneurial Leadership Development in the context of TCD in all countries we work in … and focused on Yazidi and Kurds and Serbs
education translations, focused on expanding in the Middle East, specifically among the Kurds and Yazidi
Kurds and Yazidi better enabled to expand the Development/TCD in countries near/in Kurdistan
Relief and Development work among refugees in Kurdistan/Iraq
EOY – End Of Year donations so far, have us wondering if maybe we’ve not communicated well. If you have not yet considered your EOY giving focus, please consider how you might enjoy vesting in those we serve, especially as we all join together in furthering Development and Self-sustainment !
These financial needs are:
$ 15,000 annually for 4x trips per year … usually 6-8 country locations, villages, refugee areas, etc.
$ 1,400 monthly personal … due to donations attrition and cost of living increases
$ 60,000 annually to specific projects, especially in Kurdistan/Iraq and the Middle East, where so much is suffering is present, and TCD Development expansion is so needful

Total Families Helped: 100
(Location: Gaibandha: 50, Sathkhira : 50)
By good grace we were able to distribute your kind GHNI gift and your support to flood effective peoples. Though there was big challenge to meet demand of effective community like: we are giving 100 families where more than 500 candidates received assistance. Our team really worked hard to do this hard implementation. They identify most significant candidates and give slip to collect goods from nearby safe place. Grateful we were able to help 100 families and giving 300 individuals flood informations.
This works opened door to help more later. Every place I clearly explain that this gift coming from our friends GHNI who love them and that love send this help.
I thankful in Gaibandha there is no long term helping and to start follow-up and assistance/TCD, Distribution Location – GHNI

As I find out those families lost their crops so when water will come down they start cultivation again and they need future seed, fertilizer and awareness program. Temporary Shelter & Food Distributions

Earthquake disaster relief continues via GHNI …
Short Term Team – STT/GHNI was on the ground last week in Nepal, as they helped in relieving “some” of the devastation encountered by villagers and in Kathmandu. Total Destruction of Village Home
Amazing hospitality never ceases to amaze our team, as even now living in temporary shelters made of sticks, roof tins, tarps, etc., the locals in one tiny village we helped, insisted on feeding us the best of their best. “Humbled”, is a word that couldn’t come close to how we felt. These people are amazing in how they are committed to re-establishing life, regardless of resources. We were there simply to provide such. Mom, who prepared our lunch in her temporary “home”!
Provisions of roofing tin(s), tarps, rice and other food essentials were distributed by our team in both remote village locations, as well as in Kathmandu. STT team members and village ladies …
Purchasing and utilizing “local resources” is a foundational GHNI concept. GHNI desires, as much as possible, to support and enhance the local economies, purchasing from these sources when possible, even in disaster relief times such as this. Local resource purchasing of roof tins and tarps
